When I was 10 years old, I won a city-wide bookmark design contest—and today, I still design bookmarks (and a lot more) for a living. After earning a degree in Economics & Philosophy, and post-grad certificates in Corporate Communications and Event Planning, I spent years in the corporate world, working in industries from telecoms to film festivals to nonprofits.
In 2017, burnt out and looking for something new, I took on a freelance project for an author friend—and quickly discovered my passion for supporting writers. What began as a side gig turned into a full-time career. Since then, I’ve helped promote over 300 books, worked with 30+ authors, and collaborated with publishing-focused agencies and literary organisations. My clients have gone on to become bestsellers, award-winners, and some are even working on adapting their work for the screens.
Freelancing isn’t always easy, but getting to read, design, and support authors every day? That’s a dream come true.
When I’m not reading for work, blogging, or playing around with graphic design programs, I like to relax by reading (HA!), hanging out with my husband, baking, and discussing books (and other things) on social media.
